The project “Support Network for Local Dynamics of Cooperation in the Cross-Border Minho River”, REDE_LAB_MINHO, has as its general objective to deepen, at an organizational and efficiency level, the process of cross-border cooperation in the region of the Rio Minho through the implementation of capacity-building actions and the promotion of networking with the aim of creating a collaborative platform between local cross-border dynamics.

OBJECTIVES

The consolidation of the EGTC Rio Minho as a uniting body between the various institutions and local entities in the cross-border region:
- Promotion of cross-border cooperation and protocols;
- Participation in Europe-wide meetings.
Potentization of a cooperation network and observation of cross-border dynamics:
- Promotion of cross-border sectoral meetings;
- Implementation of an Observatory of Cross-border Dynamics of the cross-border Rio Minho.
Capacity-building, information and awareness of local cross-border institutional structures:
- Training of technicians from cross-border municipalities (Galicians from Minho/Miño River);
- Promotion of technical meetings between Eurocities in the cross-border territory;
- Creation of cross-border Urban Agendas.
Promotion of European citizenship supported by a collaborative, dynamic and participatory governance formula:
- Definition of a program of cross-border public participation;
- Potentisation of the Economic and Social Council of the Cross-Border Minho/Miño River.
