Promotion of sustainable mobility dynamics at the Rio Minho border

This project aims to capitalize on the SMART_MINO project, completed in June 2021.

It’s about capitalizing an alternative mobility in the Rio Minho border, involving institutions and authorities, consolidating and promoting cooperation projects with the aim of having a positive impact on the cross-border population, reducing CO2 emissions in the territory.

OBJECTIVES

Revitalization of e-bike Rio Minho project with the aim of consolidating and improving the joint cross-border service.
Promote the development of sustainable mobility alternatives that bring added value to border municipalities.
Realization of a Sustainable Mobility Forum in the territory of the Rio Minho to promote debate and reflection on the future of cross-border connectivity in the Northwest Peninsular.
Consolidate the territory as a point of reference in European cross-border cooperation in terms of mobility.
