The Coordinating Board of the EGTC Rio Minho met yesterday in Valença to address the implementation of future projects and prepare the elaboration of the Activity Plan for the year 2024

The Coordinating Board also approved the document “Revision of the Cross-border Rio Minho Strategy 2030”

Yesterday, Valença hosted a meeting of the Coordinating Board of the EGTC Rio Minho, in which the guidelines and schedule for the preparation of the Activities and Budget Plan for the coming year 2024 were defined, as well as other matters related to the execution of future projects.

 

Valeriá Paul and Juanma Trillo, professors at the University of Santiago de Compostela, presented the document “Revision of the Cross-border Rio Minho Strategy 2030”, prepared within the scope of the Interreg VI A Program, which was approved by the Coordinating Board.

 

 

 

The new director of the EGTC Rio Minho, deputy for Cross-border Cooperation and mayor of Guarda, Roberto Carrero; the deputy director of the group and president of the Câmara Municipal de Vila Nova de Cerveira, Rui Teixeira; one of the members of the Coordinating Board and president of the Câmara Municipal de Valença, José Manuel Vaz Carpinteira; and the councilor of Pontareas, Silvia Fernández Táboas, were present. The latter represented the new member of the Coordinating Board and mayoress of Ponteareas, Nava Castro.
